Glenn Magnell founded the firm in 2005 on "lawyer's row" along the historic main street of Goshen, NY. Glenn obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law. He also has a Masters degree from theUniversity of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors degree from New York University. Glenn is admitted to practice in New York State and in the United States District Court (Southern District of New York).
Glenn has extensive experience with criminal defense matters, including DWI/DUI, drug possession, assault, traffic misdemeanors, traffic violations and transportation law cases. He practices in both local and county courts (felonies) throughout the Hudson Valley. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, New York State Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, New York State Defenders Association and the National College of DUI Defense.
Evan D. Zucker, Esq. joined the firm in 2019 and focuses on Family Law, Matrimonial Law, Divorce, Criminal Defense, and General Litigation. Evan has an Associates degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree from Marist College, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from New York Law School. You will find that Evan has a compassionate and supportive demeanor with clients and rock-solid professionalism before the Court. When you meet with Evan, he will provide you with a clear understanding of your rights, advise on appropriate positions to take, and make a clear plan to achieve your goals. Evan is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Assigned Counsel Panel, and the Attorney for Children panel in Orange County.
Catherine (Kate) Benson joined the firm in 2007 as a legal assistant. She is the primary contact point for clients, manages our office and client billing, court correspondence, client updates and is the all-round "go to" person in the office. Kate graduated from SUNY-New Paltz. She is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French. Kate is a former high school Spanish teacher and an avid motorcyclist.
Megan Hayton joined the firm in 2012 as a paralegal. She is a graduate of Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh, NY and possess a certificate of paralegal studies from Dutchess Community College. Megan is responsible for researching a wide variety of legal issues, including case law research. She also drafts a variety of court filings and acts as our primary point of contact for clients with divorce, guardianship and elder law cases. She is also the dedicated liaison with our numerous Canadian clients.
